The Women of West Ridge ministry exists to provide women the opportunity to intentionally grow in their faith. Come be intentional: Show up twice a month and build connections with other women. Have a safe place to share, to pray, to learn, and to encourage one another. It’s a new year, so it’s a perfect time to start a new format for our Faith & Fellowship nights.
Join us as we start our next series learning about Lectio Divina. This year we are focusing on learning to be more like Jesus through spiritual habits. Learn the rhythms of reading, meditation, prayer, and contemplation as they apply to the Bible. Hear the astonishing stories of men and women who have encountered Jesus through this ancient yet astoundingly relevant spiritual habit. Discover how to hear God in His Word, so you can be equipped to take His love to the world.
Lectio Divina, which means “divine reading” in Latin, is an ancient spiritual practice that involves reading scripture slowly and prayerfully to deepen your connection with God. Through this practice, we will learn how to reflect on a passage of scripture, listen for God’s personal message, and respond with prayer and stillness, allowing the Word to inspire and transform our hearts.
