Help provide a warm meal and a welcoming start to the day for individuals in our community through our Breakfast Ministry partnership with Elgin Vineyard Church. Our West Ridge Team serves on the fourth Friday of every month, helping provide breakfast for approximately 45–50 guests. Volunteers sign up to bring a breakfast item or beverage, and typically four to five volunteers work together to provide the meal, so no one is responsible for everything. Breakfast items should arrive ready to serve, as there is limited time for preparation on-site. Volunteers are welcome to stay and help serve, but simply providing and delivering food is a tremendous support and an essential part of the ministry.

When: Fourth Friday of each month

  • Families are welcome to serve together, and children may participate if they are able to be of help and remain with their parent or guardian throughout the morning.
