Church isn’t an event, it’s a community.
We don’t believe you need to show up in starched shirts and smiling faces, singing 400-year-old songs, for it to be church. We like that “unplugged” feel. We want you to be comfortable to come as you are.
And while we love to worship God – and even occasionally sing one of those 400-year-old songs – we also know that God can speak through modern art and culture. Most of the time you’ll hear a song straight from the radio or your iTunes collection.
It’s about life and faith.
You may also notice the pastors talking about their lives. Not the holy, righteous stuff, but the broken, selfish, and occasionally messed up stuff too. We don’t put pastors on pedestals because they’re right in the trenches with us.
We believe that the Bible is relevant to everyday life so we strive to be relate-able in all of our teachings.
