Message from West Ridge Leadership Team

Our Leadership team has decided to cancel West Ridge Sunday Services and all building events until further notice out of an abundance of caution.  It is heart-breaking that we will not be able to gather physically however, we believe the health and safety of our community are vital.

SUNDAY SERVICE
We will be sharing our Sunday message by 9:00 am each week through our YouTube channel and podcasts.  In the weeks to come, we plan to provide resources for you to continue to engage with Jesus. We are grateful technology is in place to stay connected even though we can’t meet together physically.

COMMUNITY GROUPS
For those that have Community Groups that meet outside of West Ridge, we know that will be a decision that you will need to make as a group. Community is important during this unique time and whether you meet in person or virtually, think about the ways you can still stay connected to each other- see our Community Group Tab below.

GIVING
We recognize this is a trying time for everyone. Like we say each week, our giving should be out of a place of gratitude.  In the next few weeks, we recommend giving your offering digitally and for details you can follow the steps to do that here via online, through your own financial institution or by texting “GIVE” to 847.488.1761.

We know you will likely have additional questions, and we will continue to offer consistent communication updates and changes through email, our website and social media channels. Our staff is working remotely, however, phone calls will be forwarded to their personal numbers.

With prayer,
The Leadership Team

PREVENTION TIPS
Here are some of the basic measures listed on the CDC website:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if your hands are visibly dirty.
  • We encourage you to take some time to understand proper prevention measures to avoid spreading the virus by reading through the CDC recommendations here.
