When it’s Hard to See the Joy

“Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.”
James 1:2-4 (MSG)

We are all looking ahead to that day when social distancing is a thing of the past and we can go back to life as “normal.” Challenge yourself today to allow yourself to sit in the moment, even when it’s hard (and, trust us, we KNOW it’s hard). Know that, especially in times like these, God is at WORK in you!

This challenge is a gift, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. Joy, however, is a choice! How are you showing your true colors in your faith-life today?

With 12 of the 19 pads shelters closed we have a homeless man in our parks gazebo. I take him a hot meal each night and got a friend to take breakfast. He refuses to take money. In as muach as you do it to the least etc. Etc.
