Project Backpack

Help is needed to collect school supplies for local, under-privileged students in District U-46 and District 300! The total cost you can expect to pay for the backpack and the items requested is about $20, but to a family in need, especially the kids, this gift is priceless.  If you are interested in helping out, please bring the purchased items (you can put them all inside the backpack) to church starting on June 16 and drop them in the box located in the Atrium. The final collection day will be July 7th and from there, backpacks will be delivered to one of the drop-off areas.

Backpacks – $10 – Must be gender neutral.
Folders – $1 – Must be (6) solid colors only and with 2 pockets
Spiral Notebooks – $1 – Must be (4) one subject, wide rule and solid colors only
Pack of loose leaf/filler paper – $.75 – 150/200 count, wide rule
Package of pencils – $1.50 – Minimum of 10 count standard #2 with yellow wood.
Black pens – $1
Pair of scissors – $1.50 – Gender-neutral color
Glue sticks – $2 – 0.21 oz. size only, package of 6
Rulers – $.30 – Gender neutral color or wood.
Pack of crayons – $2 – 24 count only, Crayola is preferred
