West Ridge Kids
helping kids to encounter, embrace, and embody the radical love of God
You may bring your children here, but they will drag you back!
West Ridge Kids is never church as usual! It’s an exciting, fun environment where children 6 weeks old through 5th grade experience God in ways they never thought possible. Whether your baby is being lovingly rocked or your kindergartner is rocking out in worship and dance, your children will feel the love and joy of God in every moment of their Sunday morning.
Our hope is that each child in West Ridge Kids will experience and develop an authentic relationship with God early in their lives when it matters most.
Partnering With You
We are committed to partnering with you and providing the tools needed to continue the learning at home. We are here to encourage and foster a collaborative effort in your child’s spiritual growth and journey towards a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Tailored For Your Child
We will do whatever it takes to make our programs and environments respectful of children and their levels of development. Each classroom is broken down by age group so that your child’s learning experience is maximized and so is their fun!
Children attending West Ridge Kids will receive an overall biblical foundation that will support them in their walk with Christ. The curriculum, provided by The reThink group, was very thoughtfully chosen for its creative and innovative approach to helping children discover God. Visit whatisorange.org to learn more about the curriculum that is used in West Ridge Kids for babies all the way up to fifth grade.
Security and Safety
Volunteers – Our volunteers undergo an extensive application process which includes one on one interviews, one on one training, group training, an in-depth questionnaire, multiple reference checks, and a 3rd party criminal background check.
Check-in and pick-up – Children and families are assigned a random and secure identification number upon check-in that is matched with the child’s tag when they are picked up from their classroom.
